Partial scaling transform of multiqubit states as a criterion of separability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The partial scaling transform of the density matrix for multiqubit states is introduced to detect entanglement of the quantum state. The transform contains partial transposition as a special case. The scaling transform corresponds to partial time scaling

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Quantum Cryptography with Interferometric Quantum Entanglement

open access: yesJournal of Modern Optics, 1994
Abstract We provide a theoretical analysis of a quantum interferometric method in quantum cryptography based on the non-local nature of quantum entanglement which is currently being implemented in the laboratory.

Quantum correlations in and beyond quantum entanglement in bipartite continuous variable systems

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis explores the role of non-classical correlations in bipartite continuous variable quantum systems, and the approach taken is three-fold. We show that given two initially entangled atomic ensembles, it is possible to probabilistically increase ...

Mitochondria and Neuromast Tagging With Fluorescent Gallium‐Triapine Analogues: In Cellulo MP FLIM and Zebrafish Live Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fluorescent BODIPY‐conjugated thiosemicarbazone ligands and their Ga(III), In(III), and Fe(III) complexes, inspired by Triapine, are developed as theranostic agents. Multiphoton FLIM and confocal microscopy in cancer cells and zebrafish reveal real‐time uptake, mitochondrial localisation, and whilst spectroscopic assays indicated preserved complex ...

Do maximally entangled states always have an advantage over non-maximally entangled states in Schwarzschild black hole?

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
It is generally believed that quantum entanglement in the maximally entangled states is greater than quantum entanglement in the non-maximally entangled states under a relativistic setting.

Generalized Flow and Determinism in Measurement-based Quantum Computation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We extend the notion of quantum information flow defined by Danos and Kashefi for the one-way model and present a necessary and sufficient condition for the deterministic computation in this model.

Entanglement, causality and quantum networks

open access: yes, 2023
Quantum nonlocality, generated by strong correlations between entangled systems, defies the classical view of nature based on standard causal reasoning plus physical assumptions.
