Quantum entanglement in helium [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, 2011
We compute the entanglement of the ground state and several singlet and triplet excited states of the helium atom using high-quality, state-of-the-art wavefunctions. The behaviour of the entanglement of the helium eigenstates is similar to that observed in some exactly soluble two-electron systems. In particular, the amount of entanglement exhibited by

Distributing Multipartite Entanglement over Noisy Quantum Networks [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2023
A quantum internet aims at harnessing networked quantum technologies, namely by distributing bipartite entanglement between distant nodes. However, multipartite entanglement between the nodes may empower the quantum internet for additional or better ...

Quantum search without entanglement [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Entanglement of quantum variables is usually thought to be a prerequisite for obtaining quantum speed-ups of information processing tasks such as searching databases.

QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT AND SECRECY

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2001
This was a talk given at the International Conference on Fundamental Sciences, Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, 13-17 March 2000. This talk provides a general introduction to the field of cryptography and touches upon the surface of many activities presently being pursued under the heading of quantum cryptography.

Monogamy of Quantum Entanglement

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
Unlike classical correlation, quantum entanglement cannot be freely shared among many parties. This restricted shareability of entanglement among multi-party systems is known as monogamy of entanglement, which is one of the most fundamental properties of entanglement.

Genuine multipartite entanglement measures based on multi-party teleportation capability

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Quantifying entanglement is vital to understand entanglement as a resource in quantum information processing, and many entanglement measures have been suggested for this purpose.

Quantum entanglement on boundaries [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2013
Quantum entanglement in 3 spatial dimensions is studied in systems with physical boundaries when an entangling surface intersects the boundary. We show that there are universal logarithmic boundary terms in the entanglement R nyi entropy and derive them for different conformal field theories and geometrical configurations. The paper covers such topics

Entanglement and quantum groups [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2009
We describe quantum mechanical entanglement in terms of compact quantum groups. We prove an analog of positivity of partial transpose criterion and formulate a Horodecki-type theorem.
