Monitoring the Dynamics of Alzheimer's Disease Biomarkers and the APOE–Tau Axis via Human Cerebral Organoids with Immuno‐SERS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Noninvasive and sensitive detection of tau protein dynamics across developmental stages and APOE genotypes remain a challenge in Alzheimer's disease (AD) research. This study reveals the dynamics of tau secretion in label‐free manner using surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and human cerebral organoids (hCOs). This study provides novel insights

Strain‐Induced Reduction of Centrosymmetry in Rare‐Earth Iron Garnet Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces reduced centrosymmetry in rare‐earth iron garnet thin films. Studies on compressively strained Sm3Fe5O12 and tensile‐strained Lu3Fe5O12 thin films reveal that above critical thickness, a more than tenfold increase in coercivity and non‐zero orbital moments indicate a reduction of centrosymmetry.

Softening of Vibrational Modes and Anharmonicity Induced Thermal Conductivity Reduction in a‐Si:H at High Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study developed a neuroevolution machine learning potential of both a‐Si:H and a‐Si systems, and revealed that the softening of vibrational modes and enhanced anharmonicity contribute to the reduction in thermal conductivity with increasing temperature and hydrogen concentration.
