Does time exist in quantum gravity?
Time is absolute in standard quantum theory and dynamical in general relativity. The combination of both theories into a theory of quantum gravity leads therefore to a “problem of time”.

Engineering Strategies for 2D Layered Tin Halide Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors
2D halide perovskites are promising candidates for field‐effect transistor (FET) applications due to their high stability and suppressed ion migration in the presence of bulky organic spacers. This review systematically summarizes the optimization engineering strategies of 2D perovskite FETs and future challenges, which provide guidance for developing ...

The metal–insulator transition temperature (TMI) is continuously tuned by the systematic change of relative thickness in VO2 and TiO2 films (tVO2/tTiO2${t_{{\mathrm{V}}{{\mathrm{O}}_2}}}/{t_{{\mathrm{Ti}}{{\mathrm{O}}_2}}}$) in freestanding TiO2/VO2/TiO2 tri‐layers.

Quantum Mechanics by General Relativity
In the framework of General Relativity we explain the creation of all particles, ordinary and anti, in two chiral directions, with multiple generations, as well as electromagnetism and the strong nuclear force. Quantum mechanics is well-known to have its foundational problems revolving around the wave-particle duality, which actually has an exact ...

Quantum Gravity As the Unification of General Relativity & Quantum Mechanics
nonstandard viewpoint to quantum gravity is discussed. General relativity and quantum mechanics are to be related as two descriptions of the same, e.g. as Heisenberg’s matrix mechanics and Schrödinger’s wave mechanics merged in the contemporary quantum mechanics.

Space-Time Intervals Underlie Human Conscious Experience, Gravity, and a Theory of Everything [PDF]
Space-time intervals are the fundamental components of conscious experience, gravity, and a Theory of Everything. Space-time intervals are relationships that arise naturally between events.

A Gravitational Explanation for Quantum Mechanics [PDF]
It is shown that certain structures in classical General Relativity can give rise to non-classical logic, normally associated with Quantum Mechanics. A 4-geon model of an elementary particle is proposed which is asymptotically flat, particle-like and has

HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.

On the Choice of Variable for Quantization of Conformal GR
The possibility of using spin connection components as basic quantization variables of a conformal version of general relativity is studied. The considered model contains gravitational degrees of freedom and a scalar dilaton field.
