Summary: For an arbitrary quantum evolution, it is shown that the integral of the uncertainty of energy with respect to time is independent of the particular Hamiltonian used to transport the quantum system along a given curve in the projective Hilbert space. It is the distance along this curve measured by the Fubini-Study metric. This gives a new time-

ON THE GEOMETRY OF QUANTUM MECHANICS
International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics, 2012We will present a short review of some work we have done in the last ten years with Giuseppe Marmo, on the attempt to formulate some interesting physical problems — such as the Quantum Inverse Problem, Alternative Structures and Berry Phase — in a geometrical setting.

Reports on Mathematical Physics, 1991
This is an extensive review of some recent developments in the applications of a variety of techniques from algebraic topology to quantum field theory. The main aim is to show how category theory, theory of fibre bundles, cobordism and spectral sequences can be exploited for a study of the geometry of partial differential equations and hence that of ...

GEOMETRY IN QUANTUM NON-INTEGRABILITY
Modern Physics Letters A, 1993We present a framework within which the way classical behavior emerges from arbitrary quantum dynamics can be studied systematically. This behavior is characterized by a quenching (topological) index Ξ, which controls the quenching of quantum correlations and signals the existence or the lack of classical limit.

On the Quantum Geometry and Quantum Potential of the Universe
Quantum Matter, 2014The problem of quantum geometry has been dealt with by the Wheeler-De Witt equation and its Bohmian version in which a quantum universal potential is introduced. A quantum solution to the problem of the origin of the universe and of the homogeneity and isotropy of cosmic microwave background radiation is suggested, a solution that avoids the vicious ...

This graduate/research level text describes in a unified fashion the statistical mechanics of random walks, random surfaces and random higher dimensional manifolds with an emphasis on the geometrical aspects of the theory and applications to the quantisation of strings, gravity and topological field theory.
