Plane Gravitational Waves and Flat Space in Loop Quantum Gravity [PDF]
Classically a system of arbitrary plane gravitational waves propagating in the same or opposite directions can be restricted by first-class constraints to unidirectional waves, which travel without dispersion on a flat background. The unidirectionality constraints are formulated as well-defined Loop Quantum Gravity operators, together with criteria for

ONE-LOOP QUANTUM GRAVITY ON DE SITTER SPACE
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1993We demonstrate that being formulated properly all the approaches to de Sitter quantum gravity give the same one-loop path integral as was obtained by Taylor and Veneziano in a framework of the gauge fixed procedure.

Ashtekar formulation of general relativity and loop-space nonperturbative quantum gravity: a report [PDF]
The formulation of general relativity discovered by Ashtekar (1986, 1987) and the recent results obtained in non-perturbative quantum gravity using loop-space techniques are reviewed. The new formulation is based on the choice of a set of Lagrangian (and Hamiltonian) variables, instead of the spacetime metric.

We investigate the physical interpretation of the loop states of non-perturbative quantum general relativity in the regime of graviton physics, namely the regime of first order excitations around the Poincare-invariant vacuum. We construct the general form of the loop state functionals invariant under the linearized constraints.

Local momentum-space representation of graviton and ghost propagators in an arbitrary external gravitational field is constructed. It is shown that this representation allows to easily obtain one-loop counterterms in quantum gravity.
