On the Configuration Spaces of Homogeneous Loop Quantum Cosmology and Loop Quantum Gravity
The set of homogeneous isotropic connections, as used in loop quantum cosmology, forms a line $l$ in the space of all connections $\cal A$. This embedding, however, does not continuously extend to an embedding of the configuration space $\overline l$ of homogeneous isotropic loop quantum cosmology into that of loop quantum gravity, $\overline{\cal A}$.

The kinematical Hilbert space of loop quantum gravity from BF theories [PDF]
In this work, it is demonstrated how the kinematical Hilbert space of Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG) can be inferred from the configuration space of BF theories via the imposition of the Hamiltonian constraints. In particular, it is outlined how the projection to the representations associated with Ashtekar-Barbero connections provides the correct ...

Mimicking Symmetry‐Breaking Einstein Ring by Optical Lens
This article uses an optical lens to emulate the gravitational lensing effect and observe the Einstein ring (ER) patterns. The symmetry‐breaking ER, i.e., Einstein cross, is observed utilizing a rotation‐symmetry‐breaking hemi‐ellipsoid lens. Deformed Einstein cross patterns induced by noncollinearly alignment of the light source–lens–observer are ...

FLAT SPACE MODIFIED PARTICLE DYNAMICS INDUCED BY LOOP QUANTUM GRAVITY [PDF]
Starting from an heuristic approach to the semiclassical limit in loop quantum gravity, the construction of effective Hamiltonians describing Planck length corrections to the propagation of photons and spin 1/2 fermions, leading to modified energy-momentum relations, is summarized.

One-loop effective action and emergent gravity on quantum spaces in the IKKT matrix model
Abstract A detailed derivation of 3 + 1 dimensional induced or emergent gravity in the IKKT matrix model at one loop is given, as announced in [1]. The mechanism requires a brane configuration with structure $$ {\mathcal{M}}^{3,1}\times \mathcal{K}\subset {\mathbb{R}}^{9,1} $$ M
