Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

Quantum Product and Parabolic Orbits in Homogeneous Spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Chaput, Manivel, and Perrin proved in [3] a formula describing the quantum product by Schubert classes associated to cominuscule weights in a rational projective homogeneous space X. In the case where X has Picard rank one, we relate this formula to the

CLASSICAL ISOMORPHISMS FOR QUANTUM GROUPS [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1992
The expressions for the [Formula: see text]-matrices for the quantum groups [Formula: see text] and SO q(6) in terms of the [Formula: see text]-matrices for Sp q(2) and SL q(4) are found, and the local isomorphisms of the corresponding quantum groups are established.

Polarizable Vanadium Dipoles Promote Water Dissociation on Vanadium‐Based Metal Organic Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The polarization of unpaired V 3d electrons weakens the H─O bond to improve water dissociation by the dual Vδ+:O─H and Pλ−:H─O coupling hydrogen bonds formation and relaxation. P@V‐MOF electrocatalyst shows low overpotentials (94 mV in acid, 178 mV in neutral, and 77 mV in alkaline solutions) with excellent stability for effective overall water ...

Quantum groups and Yang-Baxter equations

open access: yesNatural Science Review
This introductory  review is devoted to the newest section of the theory of symmetries -- the theory of quantum groups. The principles of the theory of quantum groups are reviewed from the point of view of the possibility of their use for deformations ...

Quantum computing thanks to Bianchi groups

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
It has been shown that the concept of a magic state (in universal quantum computing: uqc) and that of a minimal informationally complete positive operator valued measure: MIC-POVMs (in quantum measurements) are in good agreement when such a magic state ...

Strain‐Programmable Luminescent Adhesive Patch With Tartrazine‐Mediated Optical Skin Clearing for Photochemical Tissue Bonding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

QCD multiplet bases with arbitrary parton ordering

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We develop an algorithm for recursively constructing orthogonal multiplet bases for the color space of QCD, for any order of partons and any N c . This recipe is then applied for explicitly constructing some of these bases.

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Completely positive quantum stochastic convolution cocycles and their dilations. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Stochastic generators of completely positive and contractive quantum stochastic convolution cocycles on a C*-hyperbialgebra are characterised. The characterisation is used to obtain dilations and stochastic forms of Stinespring decomposition for ...
