Quantum Machine Learning: An Applied Approach, 2021
Quantum information is concerned with utilizing the special features of quantum mechanics for the processing and transmission of information. Quantum information refers to data that can be physically stored in a quantum system. Quantum information theory is the study of how such information can be encoded, measured, and manipulated. Quantum computation

Colloidal Quantum Dots as Platforms for Quantum Information Science
Chemical Reviews, 2020Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) are nanoscale semiconductor crystals with surface ligands that enable their dispersion in solvents. Quantum confinement effects facilitate wave function engineering to sculpt the spatial distribution of charge and spin states and thus the energy and dynamics of QD optical transitions.

The intended goal of this chapter is to provide an operational picture for the future use of quantum technologies in the approximate period between 2025 and 2045. This chapter is intended to inform the generalist familiar with wargaming. It is not intended to be a detailed discussion of the technology, a description of the pitfalls, or a listing of the

Quantum technology has made great strides in recent years. While quantum computers offer many benefits, we are far from seeing them implemented on a mass scale. Here we review the basic building blocks of quantum information processing, identify the advantages of quantum physics over classical physics, explain how quantum communication protocols work ...

Abstract : This is the final report for the AFRL/RI in-house project Quantum Information Science. Under this project we constructed a six qubit (quantum bit) capable photon-based experimental testbed for the development of photon-based quantum gates and circuits and performed experimental and theoretical investigations of quantum computation.
