Quantum Key Distribution Protocol Optimization
Annalen der Physik, 2019AbstractQuantum key distribution is a practically implementable cryptographic communication methodology from the hardware and software point of view. It is an information‐theoretic secure method for transmitting keys to remote partners practicing quantum communication.

Frequency-coded quantum key distribution
Optics Letters, 2007We report an intrinsically stable quantum key distribution scheme based on genuine frequency-coded quantum states. The qubits are efficiently processed without fiber interferometers by fully exploiting the nonlinear interaction occurring in electro-optic phase modulators.

2008
Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) uses Quantum Mechanics to guarantee secure communication. It enables two parties to produce a shared random bit string known only to them, which can be used as a key to encrypt and decrypt messages.

Noise-reducing quantum key distribution
Reports on Progress in PhysicsAbstract Quantum key distribution (QKD) is a swiftly advancing field with the great potential to be ubiquitously adopted in quantum communication applications, attributed to its unique capability to offer ultimate end-to-end theoretical security.

ASYMMETRICAL QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION PROTOCOL
International Journal of Modern Physics C, 2002We provide an asymmetrical quantum key distribution protocol based on the correlations of EPR pairs. It is a variant of the modified Lo–Chau protocol where the EPR pair is not in the state Φ+ but is in one of the four states {Φ±, Ψ±}. The two sides communicating with each other are not equal in the process of establishing the key.

Quantum-Key Distribution (QKD) Fundamentals
2019This chapter is devoted to QKD fundamentals. The chapter starts with description of key differences between conventional cryptography, classical physical-layer security (PLS), and QKD. In section on QKD basics, after historical overview, we review different QKD types and describe briefly common postprocessing steps, namely, information reconciliation ...

Quantum Computing: Quantum Key Distribution
IOSR Journal of Computer Engineering, 2014For the last fifty years computers have grown faster, smaller, and more powerful transforming and benefiting our society in ways too numerous to count. But like any exponential explosion of resources, this growth — known as Moore's law — must soon come to an end. Research has already begun on what comes after our current computing revolution.

Recent Quantum Key Distribution Schemes
2019This chapter is devoted to the recently proposed both discrete variable (DV) and continuous variable (CV)-QKD schemes. The chapter starts with the description of Hong–Ou–Mandel effect and photonic Bell state measurements (BSMs). Both polarization state-based and time-bin-state-based BSMs are introduced.
