Bias‐Free Highly Efficient and Stable Dye‐Sensitized Photoelectrochemical Cells via Cascade Charge Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A buried‐junction DSPEC design is introduced that leverages cascade charge transfer to enhance efficiency, stability, and versatility. This approach facilitates effective charge transfer and minimizes recombination losses, leading to significant improvements.

BOUNDARY QUANTUM MECHANICS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A reformulation of a physical theory in which measurements at the initial and final moments of time are treated independently is discussed, both on the classical and quantum levels. Methods of the standard quantum mechanics are used to quantize boundary phase space to obtain boundary quantum mechanics -- a theory that does not depend on the distinction

Fractional quantum mechanics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2000
A path integral approach to quantum physics has been developed. Fractional path integrals over the paths of the L vy flights are defined. It is shown that if the fractality of the Brownian trajectories leads to standard quantum and statistical mechanics, then the fractality of the L vy paths leads to fractional quantum mechanics and fractional ...

SUPERSYMMETRIC RELATIVISTIC QUANTUM MECHANICS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2006
We present an attempt to formulate the supersymmetric and relativistic quantum mechanics in the sense of realizing supersymmetry on the single particle level, by utilizing the equations of motion which is equivalent to the ordinary second quantization of the chiral multiplet.

Advancing Electronic Application of Coordination Solids: Enhancing Electron Transport and Device Integration via Surface‐Mounted MOFs (SURMOFs)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Interactive simulations for the learning and teaching of quantum mechanics concepts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Since 2009, we have been developing and evaluating interactive simulations with accompanying activities for the learning and teaching of quantum mechanics concepts at university level.

Quantum mechanics as an approximation of statistical mechanics for classical fields

open access: yes, 2005
We show that, in spite of a rather common opinion, quantum mechanics can be represented as an approximation of classical statistical mechanics. The approximation under consideration is based on the ordinary Taylor expansion of physical variables.

Biodegradable and Recyclable Luminescent Mixed‐Matrix‐Membranes, Hydrogels, and Cryogels based on Nanoscale Metal‐Organic Frameworks and Biopolymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

Noncommutative quantum mechanics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2001
A general non-commutative quantum mechanical system in a central potential $V=V(r)$ in two dimensions is considered. The spectrum is bounded from below and for large values of the anticommutative parameter $ $, we find an explicit expression for the eigenvalues.
