Quasi-quantum model of potentization [PDF]
Analytical time-dependent functions describing the change of the concentration of the solvent S(t) and the homeopathic active substance A(t) during the decimal and centesimal dilution are derived. The function S(t) is a special case of the West-Brown-Enquist curve describing the ontogenic growth, hence the increase in concentration of the solvent ...

What is Quantum? Unifying Its Micro-Physical and Structural Appearance
We can recognize two modes in which 'quantum appears' in macro domains: (i) a 'micro-physical appearance', where quantum laws are assumed to be universal and they are transferred from the micro to the macro level if suitable 'quantum coherence ...

Modeling and Control of Quantum Systems: An Introduction [PDF]
The scope of this work is to provide a self-contained introduction to a selection of basic theoretical aspects in the modeling and control of quantum mechanical systems, as well as a brief survey on the main approaches to control synthesis. While part of

A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

A 3D analysis of crack-front shape of asymmetric repaired aluminum panels with composite patches
Through this study, a numerical simulation based on 3D in order to investigate the effect of Crack-front shape on the stress intensity factor and fatigue crack growth behavior of center cracked aluminum plate repaired asymmetrically with a bonded ...

Numerical and analytical research of the impact of decoherence on quantum circuits
Three different levels of noisy quantum schemes modeling are considered: vectors, density matrices and Choi-Jamiolkowski related states. The implementations for personal computers and supercomputers are described, and the corresponding results are shown.

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Models to Reduce the Complexity of Simulating a Quantum Computer [PDF]
Recently Quantum Computation has generated a lot of interest due to the discovery of a quantum algorithm which can factor large numbers in polynomial time. The usefulness of a quantum com puter is limited by the effect of errors.

Statistical Estimation of Quantum Tomography Protocols Quality
A novel operational method for estimating the efficiency of quantum state tomography protocols is suggested. It is based on a-priori estimation of the quality of an arbitrary protocol by means of universal asymptotic fidelity distribution and condition ...
