Solvent Co‐Intercalation Enabled Ca Storage in MoS2 for Ca‐Ion Batteries
Regulating electrolyte solvation levels enables otherwise non‐intercalatable Ca2+ ions to reversibly co‐intercalate into molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as ether‐solvated species. The intercalation reversibility is strongly governed by solvent chain length, as demonstrated using diethylene glycol dimethyl ether (G2) and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether (

An original method is presented for producing artificial spider silk fibers with magnetic and magnetomechanical responsiveness, which consists in coating them with a nanometer‐thick layer of FeCo alloy by sputtering deposition. The challenge of combining organic materials and inorganic magnetic nanostructures is addressed, thus taking a step forward ...

Observation and manipulation of quantum interference in a superconducting Kerr parametric oscillator
Quantum tunneling is the phenomenon that makes superconducting circuits “quantum”. Recently, there has been a renewed interest in using quantum tunneling in phase space of a Kerr parametric oscillator as a resource for quantum information processing ...

Subcycle 2-Electron Quantum Interference in Nonsequential Double Ionization
Strong-field nonsequential double ionization (NSDI) is a key process for probing electron–electron correlations. Yet, while its classical aspects are well understood, the quantum nature of these correlations has remained largely hidden.

Orbital Geometry‐Governed Response of Pressure‐Tunable Quantum Defects in hBN
Defects in hBN act as ultrasensitive quantum manometers when the energy of the intradefect optical transitions is modified by lattice compression. The orbital geometry of the electron wave functions governs how electron hopping and Coulomb interactions react uniquely to the reduction of the van der Waals gap and in‐plane compression, leading to robust ...

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Observation of quantum temporal correlations well beyond Lüders bound
The ability of achieving strong quantum spatial correlations has helped the emergence of quantum information science. In contrast, how to achieve strong quantum temporal correlations (QTCs) has remained as a long-standing challenge, thus hindering their ...

Systems of observables in quantum mechanics
The self adjoint linear operators which represent the observables of a physical system are in general not an irreducible system. Because a complete set of commuting observables must determine the state of a physical system unambiguously the observables generate an algebra of operators which must contain a maximal abelian subalgebra.

Exploring Pb‐Chelation Chemistry in the Crystallization Dynamics of Halide Perovskites
A mechanism of how Pb‐chelation chemistry governs coordination geometry and initial nucleation behavior at the precursor level of halide perovskite, by regulating the deprotonation state of a chelating additive, is elucidated. This allows for innovative reaction‐system design principles that promote coherent growth while suppressing defect formation in
