A recurring challenge in quantum science and technology is the precise control of their underlying dynamics that lead to the desired quantum operations, often described by a set of quantum gates. These gates can be subject to application-specific errors,

Direct and Parallel Tomography of a Quantum Process
As the method to completely characterize quantum dynamical processes, quantum process tomography (QPT) is vitally important for quantum information processing and quantum control, where the faithfulness of quantum devices plays an essential role. Here via weak measurements, we present a new QPT scheme characterized by its directness and parallelism ...

Tailoring Light Management in All‐Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells: The Impact of Nanotextures
To further improve the power conversion efficiency of all‐perovskite tandem solar cells, light management strategies need to be implemented. Front‐sided nanotextures reduce reflection losses, which boosts light absorption, thus increasing the tandem JSC, which is further supported by reducing parasitic absorption.

Disorder‐Broadened Topological Hall Phase and Anomalous Hall Scaling in FeGe
By systematically introducing defects into FeGe via ion‐beam modification, we demonstrate that disorder broadens the temperature regime over which the topological Hall effect ‐ a signature of skyrmions or other chiral textures — appears, while also increasing its magnitude.

Combined UV–vis transmittance and wavelength‐dependent photo‐assisted DC I–V analyses reveal defect‐induced optical instability and a high density of deep donor‐like subgap traps in La‐doped SrSnO3. The resulting MOSFET achieves one of the highest on/off ratios reported for ABO3 perovskite devices, demonstrating the promise of stannate perovskites as ...

Efficient factored gradient descent algorithm for quantum state tomography
Reconstructing the state of quantum many-body systems is of fundamental importance in quantum information tasks, but extremely challenging due to the curse of dimensionality. In this work, we present an efficient quantum tomography protocol that combines

Multi‐Level Saturation Current Encoding in Two‐Dimensional Ferroelectric Source‐Gated Transistors
A 2D ferroelectric source‐gated transistor (SGT) operates with a non‐volatile, multi‐level saturation current controlled by ferroelectric polarization. Operando electrostatic and photocurrent imaging link the current limitation to source‐side depletion, identifying saturation current as a programmable, read‐bias‐tolerant device parameter toward low ...

Engineered Nanotopography to Modulate Growth and Signaling of Neuronal Networks
This study examines the interaction between neurons and nanoscale topographies on engineered substrates. Neurons cultured on nanowires, nanopillars and nanoneedles exhibit enhanced neurite outgrowth, form more organized neuronal circuits, and display improved synaptic connectivity, compared to flat substrates.
