Meissner Effect and Nonreciprocal Charge Transport in Non‐Topological 1T‐CrTe2/FeTe Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates interface‐induced superconductivity (Tc ∼12 K) with a robust Meissner effect and pronounced nonreciprocal transport in epitaxial 1T‐CrTe2/FeTe heterostructures, where 1T‐CrTe2 is a 2D ferromagnet, and FeTe is an antiferromagnetic metal.

Large oscillatory thermal hall effect in kagome metals

open access: yesNature Communications
The thermal Hall effect recently provided intriguing probes to the ground state of exotic quantum matters. These observations of transverse thermal Hall signals lead to the debate on the fermionic versus bosonic origins of these phenomena.

On‐Surface Synthesis of Bismuth Monolayers through Ice‐Confined Redox Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report an ice‐confined growth strategy for the synthesis of atomically thin 2D bismuth and related 2D metals. This approach involves rapid freezing of a BiCl3 aqueous solution on an aluminum foil using liquid nitrogen, which triggers interfacial redox reactions between the ice and the aluminum surface.

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Magnetic Anisotropy Modulation via van der Waals Gap Engineering in 2D Ferromagnet Fe4GeTe2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a new route to control magnetic anisotropy in 2D ferromagnets via van der Waals gap engineering. In Fe4GeTe2, an interface‐induced vdW gap expansion is found to anomalously enhance in‐plane magnetic anisotropy while suppressing the spin reorientation transition.

Intercalation‐Induced Phase Transitions in Ferroelectric α‐In2Se3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using the electrolyte gating technique, the van der Waals ferroelectric semiconductor α‐In2Se3 undergoes a series of transitions from a ferroelectric semiconductor to a dirty metal and finally to a metal, accompanied by a structural transformation. Concurrently, the ferroelectric hysteresis window progressively narrows and eventually disappears with ...
