Quantum correlations between two parties are essential for the argument of Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen in favour of the incompleteness of quantum mechanics. Schrödinger noted that an essential point is the fact that one party can influence the wave function of the other party by performing suitable measurements.

Quantum Temporal Steering in a Dephasing Channel With Quantum Criticality [PDF]
AbstractWe investigate the quantum temporal steering (TS), i.e., a temporal analogue of Einstein‐Podolsky‐Rosen steering, in a dephasing channel which is modeled by a central spin half surrounded by a spin‐1/2 XY chain where quantum phase transition happens. The TS parameter and the TS weight are employed to characterize the TS dynamics.

Abstract An arbitrary bipartite state can be visually characterized through a quantum steering ellipsoid (QSE), and different nonclassical correlations can be visually revealed via the geometric traits of the QSE. Here, we characterize the QSE of bipartite Bell diagonal states subject to the influences of the bit flip (BF), the ...

Steered Quantum Dynamics for Energy Minimization
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2014We introduce a quantum optimal control algorithm for energy minimization that combines the diffeomorphic modulation under observable response preserving homotopy (D-MORPH) gradient and the Broyden Fletcher Goldfarb Shanno (BFGS) iterative scheme for nonlinear optimization. An extended set of controls defining the time-dependent mass, dipole moment, and
