About thermodynamics of Schwarzschild black holes in a three-dimensional quantum vacuum with generalized uncertainty relations [PDF]
By considering a modified version of generalized uncertainty relations in the model of a three-dimensional dynamic quantum vacuum characterized by a variable energy density, new relevant perspectives of analysis of the thermodynamics of Schwarzschild ...

This work utilizes poly(heptazine imides) as a model system to demonstrate how fine‐tuning the crystal structure influences the photocatalytic properties of layered carbon nitrides in the hydrogen evolution reaction. In particular, the nature of rotational defects and the hydration shell of cations are key contributors to enhanced hydrogen evolution ...

All‐Inorganic InP/ZnSe/ZnS Quantum Dots with Chalcogenidometallate Ligands for Biosolar Catalysis
Intrinsic charge transfer limitations in core/shell QDs are addressed through a ligand‐induced band offset engineering (LBOE) strategy utilizing metal chalcogenide complex (MCC) ligands. The MCC‐functionalized InP/ZnSe/ZnS QDs exhibited remarkably augmented hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) generation.

A Quantum Theory of Thermodynamic Relaxation [PDF]
A new approach to quantum Markov processes is developed and the corresponding Fokker-Planck-like equation is derived. The latter was examined to reproduce known results from classical and quantum physics. It was also applied to the phase-space description of a mechanical system thus leading to a new treatment of this problem different from the Wigner ...

Leggett-Garg Inequalities for Quantum Fluctuating Work
The Leggett-Garg inequalities serve to test whether or not quantum correlations in time can be explained within a classical macrorealistic framework. We apply this test to thermodynamics and derive a set of Leggett-Garg inequalities for the statistics of
