Ultrafast Molecular Frame Quantum Tomography

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2023
We develop and experimentally demonstrate a methodology for a full molecular frame quantum tomography (MFQT) of dynamical polyatomic systems. We exemplify this approach through the complete characterization of an electronically non-adiabatic wavepacket in ammonia (NH$_3$).

Determining quantum coherence with minimal resources

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2018
We characterize minimal measurement setups for validating the quantum coherence of an unknown quantum state. We show that for a d -level system, the optimal strategy consists of measuring d orthonormal bases such that each measured basis is mutually ...

Tomography of Quantum Operations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Quantum operations describe any state change allowed in quantum mechanics, including the evolution of an open system or the state change due to a measurement.

Quantum process tomography with informational incomplete data of two J-coupled heterogeneous spins relaxation in a time window much greater than T1

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2015
We reconstruct the time dependent quantum map corresponding to the relaxation process of a two-spin system in liquid-state NMR at room temperature.

Self-guided quantum state tomography for limited resources

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Quantum state tomography is a process for estimating an unknown quantum state; which is innately probabilistic. The exponential growth of unknown parameters to be estimated is a fundamental difficulty in realizing quantum state tomography for higher ...

Relations between single and repeated qubit gates: coherent error amplification for high-fidelity quantum-gate tomography

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
In quantum computation the target fidelity of the qubit gates is very high, with the admissible error being in the range from 10 ^−3 to 10 ^−4 and even less, depending on the protocol.
