Turbo‐coded secure and reliable quantum teleportation [PDF]
Quantum teleportation allows an unknown arbitrary quantum state to be transmitted between two separate locations. To achieve this, the system requires both classical and quantum channels, for communicating two classical bits and an entangled quantum bit from the transmitter to the receiver.

Revisiting the calculation of effective free distance of turbo codes [PDF]
The expression for the minimum Hamming weight of the output of a constituent convolutional encoder, when its input is a weight-2 sequence is revisited. The new expression particularly facilitates the calculation of the effective free distance of recently

Quantum communication is a growing interdisciplinary field which combines classical communications and quantum mechanics. Quantum error correction coding is one of the key techniques in quantum communication. Nearly all of the classical error correction coding schemes have been transplanted to the domain of quantum communication, and the quantum ...

Short Low-Rate Non-Binary Turbo Codes [PDF]
A serial concatenation of an outer non-binary turbo code with different inner binary codes is introduced and analyzed. The turbo code is based on memory-1 time-variant recursive convolutional codes over high order fields.

1,8‐DHN is an important intermediate to form complex aromatic ring systems. Phenol‐coupling reactions are important for the dimerization of two molecules. Here, we show that a fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme catalyzes specific C─C bonds. ABSTRACT Dihydroxynaphthalene (DHN) derivatives are precursors of biologically important molecules, including melanin ...

The Road From Classical to Quantum Codes: A Hashing Bound Approaching Design Procedure
Powerful quantum error correction codes (QECCs) are required for stabilizing and protecting fragile qubits against the undesirable effects of quantum decoherence. Similar to classical codes, hashing bound approaching QECCs may be designed by exploiting a

Evaluation of Novel Cloxyquin Analogs for K2P18.1 Channel Modulation. [PDF]
5‐Chloro‐/5‐bromoquinolines reveal how subtle changes at the 8‐position of the quinoline scaffold tune activity at hK2P18.1 channels. Among 14 synthesized derivatives, benzaldimine 3d emerged as a new lead for activator optimization potentiating hK2P18.1 activity by around 60% at 100 µM.
