Hash Function Based on Controlled Alternate Quantum Walks With Memory (September 2021)

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering, 2022
We propose a Quantum inspired Hash Function using controlled alternate quantum walks with Memory on cycles (QHFM), where the $j$th message bit decides whether to run quantum walk with one-step memory or to run quantum walk with two-step memory at the $j ...

The quantum Lévy walk [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2010
We introduce the quantum Levy walk to study transport and decoherence in a quantum random model. We have derived from second order perturbation theory the quantum master equation for a \textit{Levy-like particle}that moves along a lattice through hopping scale-free while interacting with a thermal bath of oscillators.

Return Probability of Quantum and Correlated Random Walks

open access: yesEntropy, 2022
The analysis of the return probability is one of the most essential and fundamental topics in the study of classical random walks. In this paper, we study the return probability of quantum and correlated random walks in the one-dimensional integer ...

Quantum walks on graphs

open access: yesProceedings of the thirty-third annual ACM symposium on Theory of computing, 2001
We set the ground for a theory of quantum walks on graphs- the generalization of random walks on finite graphs to the quantum world. Such quantum walks do not converge to any stationary distribution, as they are unitary and reversible. However, by suitably relaxing the definition, we can obtain a measure of how fast the quantum walk spreads or how ...

Directivity of Quantum Walk via Its Random Walk Replica

open access: yesComplexity, 2022
Quantum walks (QWs) exhibit different properties compared with classical random walks (RWs), most notably by linear spreading and localization. In the meantime, random walks that replicate quantum walks, which we refer to as quantum-walk-replicating ...

Localization of Discrete Time Quantum Walks on the Glued Trees

open access: yesEntropy, 2014
In this paper, we consider the time averaged distribution of discrete time quantum walks on the glued trees. In order to analyze the walks on the glued trees, we consider a reduction to the walks on path graphs.

Möbius quantum walk

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2017
By adding an extra Hilbert space to Hadamard Quantum Walk on Cycles (QWC), we presented a new type of QWCs called Möbius Quantum Walk (MQW). The new space configuration enables the particle to rotate around the axis of movement. We defined factor $α$ as the Möbius factor which is number of rotations per cycle.
