Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

QUANTUM WALKS ON SIERPINSKI GASKETS [PDF]
We analyze discrete-time quantum walks on Sierpinski gaskets using a flip-flop shift operator with the Grover coin. We obtain the scaling of two important physical quantities: The mean-square displacement, and the mixing time as function of the number of points.

Knowledge‐based atomistic workflows are presented for mechanical and thermodynamic properties. By coupling modular simulations with ontology‐aligned metadata and provenance, Fe case studies on elastic behavior, defects, thermal properties, and Hall–Petch strengthening reveal how FAIR, queryable, and reusable simulation data can be generated. Mechanical

The Simplest 2D Quantum Walk Detects Chaoticity
Quantum walks are, at present, an active field of study in mathematics, with important applications in quantum information and statistical physics. In this paper, we determine the influence of basic chaotic features on the walker behavior.

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,
