Maximum Mass Limit of Generalized MIT Compact Star: A Theoretical Study of Thin Shell Dynamics and Gravitational Lensing

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract In this study, the properties, equilibrium, and stability of compact objects within the framework of teleparallel gravity with the generalized MIT bag model are investigated. By incorporating the modified field equations, the influence of the generalized bag constant on the structure and physical characteristics of quark stars and neutron ...

The effect of weak magnetic photon emission from quark-gluon plasma

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We propose a novel effect that accounts for the photon emission from a quark-gluon plasma in the presence of a weak external magnetic field. Although the weak magnetic photon emission from quark-gluon plasma only leads to a small correction to the photon

Probing the gluon plasma with charm balance functions

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
Recent theoretical explanations for how hydrodynamic-like flow can build up quickly in small collision systems (hydrodynamization) has led to a microscopic picture of flow building up in a gluon-dominated phase before chemical equilibrium between quarks ...

Electrical conductivity of the quark-gluon plasma from the low energy limit of photon and dilepton spectra

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2023
Fluid dynamic considerations are used to determine the electric current spectral density in the regime of small energies and momenta. The spectral density in this regime is parameterized by the electric conductivity, the charge susceptibility, and the ...

Heavy Quarkonia in Quark-Gluon Plasma

open access: yes, 2005
Using the color-singlet free energy F_1 and total internal energy U_1 obtained by Kaczmarek et al. for a static quark Q and an antiquark Qbar in quenched QCD, we study the binding energies and wave functions of heavy quarkonia in a quark-gluon plasma. By

How a quark-gluon plasma phase modifies the bounds on extra dimensions from SN 1987a [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The shape of the neutrino pulse from the supernova SN1987a provides one of the most stringent constraints on the size of large, compact, "gravity-only" extra dimensions.

Generation of Electric Current by Magnetic Field at the Boundary: Quantum Scale Anomaly Versus Semiclassical Meissner Current Outside of the Conformal Limit

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 4, Issue 7, July 2025.
The paper discusses the role of scale anomaly in generating edge electric currents via the scale magnetic effect in scalar electrodynamics. Although the boundary electric current is much weaker than the Meissner current induced in superconducting materials, the scale anomaly can enhance conductivity near the boundary of the material.

Confinement of Fermions in Tachyon Matter at Finite Temperature

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2021
We study a phenomenological model that mimics the characteristics of QCD theory at finite temperature. The model involves fermions coupled with a modified Abelian gauge field in a tachyon matter.

Exploring Dark Photon Production and Kinetic Mixing Constraints in Heavy‐Ion Collisions

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, Volume 346, Issue 3-4, March-May 2025.
ABSTRACT Vector U‐bosons, often referred to as “dark photons,” are potential candidates for mediating dark matter interactions. In this study, we outline a procedure to derive theoretical constraints on the upper bound of the kinetic mixing parameter ϵ2MU$$ {\upvarepsilon}^2\left({M}_U\right) $$ using dilepton data from heavy‐ion from SIS to RHIC ...

Quark-Gluon Plasma Fireball

open access: yes, 2000
Lattice-QCD results provide an opportunity to model, and extrapolate to finite baryon density, the properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP). Upon fixing the scale of the thermal coupling constant and vacuum energy to the lattice data, the properties of
