Photons from strange-quark annihilation in a quark-gluon plasma
We compute the energy spectrum of photons which originate from the quark-annihilation process ss¯→γg in quark-gluon plasma. The spectrum peaks at an energy Eγmax∼2ms∼400 MeV in the rest frame of the plasma.

The instanton liquid and the axion
The ultimate goal of this thesis is to improve our understanding of the cosmology of axions. Axions couple to QCD instantons and these non-perturbative effects are modeled within the framework of the interacting instanton liquid model (IILM).

Dynamical mean-field theory approach for ultracold atomic gases
In this thesis we have studied the physics of different ultracold Bose-Fermi mixtures in optical lattices, as well as spin 1=2 fermions in a harmonic trap.

GLUEBALL PRODUCTION FROM THE QUARK-GLUON PLASMA
We suggest that there might be a production of a large number of glueballs in relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions if the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) phase is realized.

Meson radiation from quark-gluon plasma [PDF]
Meson formation and radiation at the surface of quark-gluon plasma are studied by making use of the chromoelectric flux tube model.

Minijet thermalization and jet transport coefficients in QCD kinetic theory
We apply weakly coupled QCD kinetic theory to investigate the thermalization of high-momentum on-shell partons (minijets) in a Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP).
