The non-Gaussian fluctuations of baryon density are sensitive to the presence of the conjectured QCD critical point. Their observational consequences are crucial for the ongoing experimental search for this critical point through the beam energy scan ...

Unified interacting quark matter and its astrophysical implications [PDF]
We investigate interacting quark matter (IQM), including the perturbative QCD correction and color superconductivity, for both up-down quark matter ($ud$QM) and strange quark matter (SQM).

Spin polarization induced by the hydrodynamic gradients
We systematically analyze the effects of the derivatives of the hydrodynamic fields on axial Wigner function that describes the spin polarization vector in phase space.

Mixed phase transition from hypernuclear matter to deconfined quark matter fulfilling mass-radius constraints of neutron stars [PDF]
A recent solution of the hyperon puzzle by a first order phase transition to color superconducting quark matter is revisited in order to replace the Maxwell construction by an interpolation method which describes a mixed phase.

Positive magnetoresistance induced by hydrodynamic fluctuations in chiral media
We analyze the combined effects of hydrodynamic fluctuations and chiral magnetic effect (CME) for a chiral medium in the presence of a background magnetic field. Based on the recently developed non-equilibrium effective field theory, we show fluctuations

We use a recently constructed linearized soliton sector perturbation theory to calculate the form factors relevant to the elastic scattering of ultrarelativistic mesons off of nonrelativistic kinks.

Spectral function of quarks in quark matter [PDF]
We investigate the spectral function of light quarks in infinite quark matter using a simple, albeit self-consistent model. The interactions between the quarks are described by the SU(2) Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model. Currently mean field effects are neglected and all calculations are performed in the chirally restored phase at zero temperature.

Signatures for quark matter from multi-messenger observations [PDF]
We review the prospects for detecting quark matter in neutron star cores. We survey the proposed signatures and emphasize the importance of data from neutron star mergers, which provide access to dynamical properties that operate on short timescales that
