Quark and Chromon Model and Glueball-Quarkonium Mixing in QCD
The existence of two types of gluons in QCD, the color neutral neurons and colored chromons, implies that the chromons can be the constituent of hadrons. This generalizes the quark model to the quark and chromon model.

Subleading heavy quark effects in a nonrelativistic quark model
I present a very simple model, based on the model of Isgur, Scora, Grinstein and Wise \cite{ISGW}, which can be used to calculate the effects which appear at subleading order in heavy quark effective theory. I include both general formalism and specific results.

Collider sensitivity to SMEFT heavy-quark operators at one-loop in top-quark processes [PDF]
We study the effects of four-heavy-quark operators in the production of top quarks in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) at the LHC. In particular, we compute for the first time the total contribution of the four-top-quark operator which enters only at the one-loop level in the top-quark pair production process ...

Finite modular subgroups for fermion mass matrices and baryon/lepton number violation
We study a flavor model that the quark sector has the S3 modular symmetry while the lepton sector has the A4 modular symmetry. Our model leads to characteristic quark mass matrices which are consistent with experimental data of quark masses, mixing ...

An introduction to the quark model
This document contains a review on the quark model, prepared for lectures at the Niccolo Cabeo School at Ferrara in May 2012. It includes some historical aspects, the spectral properties of the 2-body and 3-body Schroedinger operators applied to mesons and baryons, the link between meson and baryon spectra, the role of flavour independence, and the ...
