The problem of repulsive quark interactions - Lattice versus mean field models
We calculate the 2nd and 4th order quark number susceptibilities at zero baryochemical potential, using a PNJL approach and an approach which includes, in a single model, quark and hadronic degrees of freedom.

QCD θ-vacua from the chiral limit to the quenched limit
We investigate the dependence of the QCD vacuum structure on the θ-angle and quark mass, using the Di-Vecchia–Veneziano model. Although the Di-Vecchia–Veneziano model is a chiral effective model, it contains the topological properties of the pure Yang ...

A general Lorentz-covariant quark model of mesons, whose nonrelativistic limit corresponds to Isgur-Scora-Grinstein-Wise model, is constructed. It possesses the heavy quark symmetry and can be easily applied to calculation of form factors. Besides it can be engaged in novel tasks, such a the investigation of the two photon decay of scalar mesons.

A relativistic treatment of pion wave functions in the annihilation antiproton-proton -> pi^-pi^+
Quark model intrinsic wave functions of highly energetic pions in the reaction \bar pp->\pi^-\pi^+ are subjected to a relativistic treatment. The annihilation is described in a constituent quark model with A2 and R2 flavor-flux topology and the ...

CP violation of quarks in A4 modular invariance
We discuss the quark mass matrices in the A4 modular symmetry, where the A4 triplet of Higgs is introduced for each up-quark and down-quark sectors, respectively.

Equation of state of quark-gluon plasma using a simple phenomenological model
The equation of state (EoS) of quark-gluon plasma (QGP) using a phenomenological model is studied in which finite value of quark mass is modified as effective mass.
