Quarks in a Polar Model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Essays, 2018
Current-quark masses are compared to the rest masses allowed by the Helmholtz equation in a polar model. Within the uncertainty of the current u quark mass determination, the current quark mass coincides with the rest mass allowed by the Helmholtz equation in the polar model in accordance with the second root of the zero Neumann function.

Covariant and heavy quark symmetric quark models [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1994
There exist relativistic quark models (potential or MIT-bag) which satisfy the heavy quark symmetry (HQS) relations among meson decay constants and form factors. Covariant construction of the momentum eigenstates, developed here, can correct for spurious center-of-mass motion contributions.Proton form factor and M1 transitions in quarkonia are ...

The Quantum Nature of Lorentz Invariance

open access: yesUniverse, 2018
If the reality underlying classical physics is quantum in nature, then it is reasonable to assume that the transformations of fields, currents, energy, and momentum observed macroscopically are the result of averaging of symmetry groups acting in the ...

Recent results on top quark mass and properties and rare/anomalous top quarks interactions in CMS

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2022
The amount of data collected by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC in the second data taking period provides the possibility to study absolute and differential cross sections of top quark interaction processes with high precision.

Strong Effective Coupling, Meson Ground States, and Glueball within Analytic Confinement

open access: yesParticles, 2019
The phenomena of strong running coupling and hadron mass generating have been studied in the framework of a QCD-inspired relativistic model of quark-gluon interaction with infrared-confined propagators.

Spectroscopy of the Ωccb baryon in the hypercentral constituent quark model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We extract the mass spectrum of the triply heavy baryon Ω ccb using the hypercentral constituent quark model. The first order correction is also added to the potential term of the Hamiltonian.

Mass spectra and radiative transitions of doubly heavy baryons in a relativized quark model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We study the mass spectra and radiative decays of doubly heavy baryons within the diquark picture in a relativized quark model. The mass of the JP=1/2+ Ξcc ground state is predicted to be 3606 MeV, which is consistent with the mass of Ξcc++(3621) newly ...

Phase transition from hadronic matter to quark matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We study the phase transition from nuclear matter to quark matter within the SU(3) quark mean field model and NJL model. The SU(3) quark mean field model is used to give the equation of state for nuclear matter, while the equation of state for color ...

Sub-leading twist transverse momentum dependent parton distributions in the light-front quark-diquark model

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2023
In this study, the T-even sub-leading twist transverse momentum dependent distributions (TMDs) of proton in the light-front quark-diquark model (LFQDM) have been investigated. We have derived the overlap form of the light-front wave functions (LFWFs) for
