Entropic Destruction of Heavy Quarkonium from a Deformed AdS5 Model
We study the destruction of heavy quarkonium due to the entropic force in a deformed AdS5 model. The effects of the deformation parameter on the interdistance and the entropic force are investigated.

QUARKONIUM PRODUCTION IN HADRONIC COLLISIONS [PDF]
We summarize the theoretical description of charmonium and bottonium production in hadronic collisions and compare it to the available data from hadron-nucleon interactions. With the parameters of the theory established by these data, we obtain predictions for quarkonium production at RHIC and LHC energies.

Experimental overview: Quarkonium production in relativistic particle collisions [PDF]
Quarkonium provides a golden probe of the formation of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP). Its production in heavy-ion collisions can be affected by an interplay of different phenomena such as medium-induced dissociation and heavy-quark (re)combination in the ...

Entropic destruction of heavy quarkonium in quark-gluon plasma with gluon condensate
It has been argued that the peak of the quarkonium entropy at the deconfinement transition is related to the entropic force which induces dissociation of quarkonium states.

Born-Oppenheimer approximation in EFT and quarkonium hybrids
We report on the results of [1] for the calculations of quarkonium hybrids. We have developed and Effective Field Theory (EFT) for quarkonium hybrids that systematically incorporates an expansion with respect to the adiabatic limit.

Towards an automated tool to evaluate the impact of the nuclear modification of the gluon density on quarkonium, D and B meson production in proton–nucleus collisions [PDF]
We propose a simple and model-independent procedure to account for the impact of the nuclear modification of the gluon density as encoded in nuclear collinear PDF sets on two-to-two partonic hard processes in proton–nucleus collisions.

Quarkonium production and polarization in pp collisions with the CMS detector
Studies of the production of heavy quarkonium states are very important to improve our understanding of QCD and hadron formation, given that the heavy quark masses allow the application of theoretical tools less sensitive to nonperturbative effects ...

Sequential Quarkonium Suppression
We use recent lattice data on the heavy quark potential in order to determine the dissociation temperatures of different quarkonium states in hot strongly interacting matter. Our analysis shows in particular that certain quarkonium states dissociate below the deconfinement point.
