Quarkonium Production in ATLAS.

open access: yes, 2012
The production of Quarkonium is an important testing ground for QCD calculations. The J/$\psi$ and $\Upsilon$(1S) production cross-sections are measured in proton-proton collisions at the ATLAS detector at the LHC. Differential cross sections as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity have been measured.

Holographic real and imaginary potentials of heavy quarkonium in Yang-Mills-dilaton black holes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
Within the methods of the real and the imaginary potential for investigating the melting of a heavy quarkonium in the AdS/CFT correspondence, we study the effects of the dynamical exponent, the hyperscaling violation parameter, and the Yang-Mills charge ...

Holographic complex potential of a quarkonium from deep learning

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Utilizing an emergent metric developed from deep learning techniques, we determine the complex potential associated with static quarkonium. This study explores the disintegration process of quarkonium by analyzing the real component of this potential ...

Quarkonium - Theory

open access: yes, 2011
Some recent issues in the theory of heavy quarkonium are discussed. Many of these deal with the need to extend the description of charmonium and bottomonium states beyond the simple quark-antiquark picture. Some recent progress on radiative transitions in bottomonium is also described.

Molecular Quarkonium

open access: yes, 2006
I discuss topics related to four-quark states of the `molecular quarkonium' type, i.e. resonances that could be considered as (dominantly) made from a heavy meson and antimeson. Of the so far observed resonances such picture is very likely applicable to the state X(3872), and I also discuss its possible relevance to the peak near the $D^* {\bar D ...
