Surface Oxidation of 2D γ‐Indium Sulfide Nanoplatelets and Its Impact on Photoluminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Photoluminescence of defective 2D γ‐In2S3 can be modulated after exposure to air or oxygen‐containing ligands. Cryogenic photoluminescence measurements reveal that a new acceptor level is introduced upon oxidation, modulating the relative intensity of the emission bands.

Ultrabright Fiber‐Coupled Polarization‐Entangled Photon Source with Spectral Brightness Surpassing 2.0 MHz mW−1 nm−1

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
In this study, it implements a high‐efficiency polarization‐entangled photon source based on single‐mode fiber coupling with a spectral brightness exceeding 2.0 MHz mW−1 nm−1, utilizing a spatial mode‐matching technique. The results of this study provide a more intuitive and practical guide for implementing high‐efficiency quantum light sources ...

Thermal Shrinkage‐Induced Modifications in Photonic Bandgaps of Two‐Photon Polymerized Bragg Reflectors

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Scanning electron microscopy and white‐light reflectance images of the pillar‐supported distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) are presented before and after thermal shrinkage. The DBR, fabricated via two‐photon polymerization, consists of alternating high‐ and low‐index layers supported by vertical pillars.
