The Partition Function and Level Density for Yang-Mills-Higgs Quantum Mechanics [PDF]
We calculate the partition function $Z(t)$ and the asymptotic integrated level density $N(E)$ for Yang-Mills-Higgs Quantum Mechanics for two and three dimensions ($n = 2, 3$). Due to the infinite volume of the phase space $\Gamma$ on energy shell for $n=

Cognitive Local Ambiguity Function Shaping With Spectral Coexistence
This paper deals with the problem of local ambiguity function shaping in the presence of narrow-band spectral interferences (e.g., the communication signal and jamming), which has significant applications in the radar detection field.

The graviton four-point function in de Sitter space
We compute the tree-level late-time graviton four-point correlation function, and the related quartic wavefunction coefficient, for Einstein gravity in de Sitter spacetime.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

K3 mirror symmetry, Legendre family and Deligne's conjecture for the Fermat quartic
In this paper, we will study the connections between the mirror symmetry of K3 surfaces and the geometry of the Legendre family of elliptic curves. We will prove that the mirror map of the Dwork family is equal to the period map of the Legendre family ...

Feature from recent image foundation models (DINOv2) are useful for vision tasks (segmentation, object localization) with little or no human input. Once upsampled, they can be used for weakly supervised micrograph segmentation, achieving strong results when compared to classical features (blurs, edge detection) across a range of material systems.

Decoherence and the rate of entropy production in chaotic quantum systems [PDF]
We show that for an open quantum system which is classically chaotic (a quartic double well with harmonic driving coupled to a sea of harmonic oscillators) the rate of entropy production has, as a function of time, two relevant regimes: For short times ...
