Heat‐ and Light‐Directed Cycloadditions Enable a Pericyclic Cascade Reaction From a Molecular Precursor

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A multi‐stimuli‐responsive material is designed that responds to light, heat, and mechanical force through distinct chemical reaction pathways. The pathway is directed by self‐assembly and the applied stimulus. A novel pericyclic reaction cascade is also achieved, and the mechanism is supported through density functional theory calculations.

Real‐Time Multicolor Fluorescence Microscopy via Cross‐Channel Acquisition and Deep‐Learning‐Based Inference

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Sequential multicolor fluorescence imaging in dynamic microsystems is constrained by acquisition speed and excitation dose. This study introduces a real‐time framework to reconstruct spectrally separated channels from reduced cross‐channel acquisitions (frames containing mixed spectral contributions).

Safety and Feasibility of Magnetic Separation‐Based Blood Purification

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
We present the preclinical biological safety and translational feasibility of a magnetic nanoparticle‐based extracorporeal blood purification platform for removal of disease‐causing blood factors. ISO 10993‐compliant studies and exaggerated worst‐case exposure models demonstrate efficient nanoparticle extraction (≥99.9%), favorable biocompatibility ...

pH‐Responsive Ultrasmall Iron Oxide Nanoassemblies for Activatable T2/T1 Magnetic Resonance Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This research reports a pH‐responsive ultrasmall iron oxide nanoparticle (USIONs)/polymer nanoassemblies for activatable magnetic resonance imaging. Amphiphilic diphosphonic acid block copolymers compactly encapsulate USIONs to generate T2‐weighted contrast at physiological pH, while acidic conditions trigger disassembly, activating T1‐weighted ...
