Influence of the Substrates Nature on Optical and Structural Characteristics of SnO2 Thin Film Prepared by Sol-Gel Technique [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2013
In this presentation we synthesized SnO2 thin film by sol-gel process. Starting from Tin(II) chloride as precursor and methanol as solvent the film was deposited on glass and quartz substrate by novel dip coating method.

Forward‐Biased Perovskite Photodiodes for In‐Sensor Optical Change Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A forward‐biased perovskite photodiode is introduced as an in‐sensor analog preprocessing unit that uses current balancing between photocurrent and injection current to generate optical changes relative to programmable optical reference levels. The device directly converts reference‐relative optical changes into bipolar current signals, enabling sensor‐

Deciphering the Photopolymerization‐Induced Nanostructures and Interface Formation for Submicrometer Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reveals the UV‐curing‐induced monomer‐rich domain, oligomer‐rich domain, and entangled oligomer domain. The cured submicron films in stressed state induce interlayer nano‐wrinkle structures during the deposition of the second layer. Stress‐free cured films in relaxed state form non‐diffusive, diffusive and semi‐diffusive interlayer ...

Effect of Substrates Types on CO Gas Sensing of SnO2 Thin Film Prepared by Sol-Gel Method [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2014
Tin oxide thin film was synthesized on glass and quartz substrate by sol-gel dip coating process taking tin (II) chloride as precursor and methanol as solvent. XRD study confirmed the tetragonal rutile structure of SnO2.

Hopping‐Mediated Zero‐Bias Photocharge Retention in Solution‐Processed Van Der Waals Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Liquid–liquid interface assembly enables the fabrication of solution‐processed MoS2 and WSe2 centimeter‐scale, nanometer‐thick type‐II heterostructures on paper. Interfacial charge separation and hopping‐limited recombination produce rectification and persistent photocharge retention at zero bias.

Evidence for a rosiaite-structured high-pressure silica phase and its relation to lamellar amorphization in quartz

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
Rapid compression experiments on quartz provide evidence for a metastable high-pressure phase with rosiaite structure. The phase forms as lamellae and breaks down to glass during decompression.

Circularly Polarized Electroluminescence and Spin‐Polarized Carrier Transport in Chiral‐Doped Polymer Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral dopants induce supramolecular chirality in an achiral polymer (PFO), generating spin‐polarized carriers via the chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) and suggesting a possible contribution of Spin‐polarized carrier transport to circularly polarized electroluminescence (CPEL).

Nitride MXenes Beyond Carbides: Bridging the Gap Between Computational Prediction and Experimental Realization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nitride MXenes remain constrained by a persistent gap between computational prediction and experimental realization. This Review identifies the thermodynamic, kinetic, and chemical barriers limiting their synthesis, critically evaluates emerging fabrication routes, and proposes a multidimensional computational‐experimental framework to accelerate the ...

Halide Composition Controls Phase Morphology and Device Specific Performance in Perovskite Photovoltaics and Light Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate that halide composition determines phase morphology, governing distinct operating mechanisms in mixed halide perovskites. Phase segregating 75% Br compositions enhance solar cell performance, whereas intrinsically phase‐separated 95% Br compositions provide stable light emitting diodes.
