NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Dissolution rate of powdered quartz in acid solution

open access: yesGEOCHEMICAL JOURNAL, 1974
The study reported in this paper concerns the role of salts in dissolution of powdered quartz. Kinetic dissolution experiment was carried out in acid media at 60 and 90°C to know the mechanism of acid alteration of rocks. The dissolution rate of silicon was accelerated by addition of such salts as sodium chloride and sodium sulfate in solution above ...
