Multielectron Charge Storage Enables Cascade Electrochemiluminescence in an Atomically Precise Silver Nanocluster

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
An atomically precise Ag6 nanocluster stores multiple electrons through sequential reduction reactions and releases the stored charge through successive emissive oxidation reactions with a benzoyl peroxide‐derived radical. This multielectron charge storage pathway enables an electrochemiluminescence cascade, producing a substantially more efficient ...

Resonance‐Enhanced Four‐Wave Mixing Imaging for Mapping Defect Regions in Vanadium‐Doped WS2 Monolayers

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
Resonant four‐wave mixing (FWM) microscopy reveals a spatial modulation of the third‐order nonlinear optical response in vanadium‐doped WS2 monolayers. This robust nonlinear contrast technique tracks the preferential accumulation of vanadium dopants along the structural bisection lines of the synthesized flakes.

Polymorphism and NIR Photoluminescence of Anhydrous Ytterbium(III) Acetate: Reversible Transformations of Three Polar Structures in the Temperature Range 100–593 K

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
Crystallographic variety, reversible transitions, and NIR emission of anhydrous Yb(OAc)3: identification of a new γ‐phase results in altogether three modifications all crystallizing in polar space groups related by reversible solid–solid phase transitions.

Magnetic Structure of the High‐TN Antiferromagnet La0.5Sr3.5Fe3O7.5F2.6: A Temperature‐Dependent Mößbauer Spectroscopy and Neutron Diffraction Study

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
La0.5Sr3.5Fe3O7.5F2.6, a rare n = 3 Ruddlesden–Popper oxyfluoride, exhibits robust antiferromagnetism across a wide temperature range from 1.7 to 470 K. Temperature‐dependent neutron diffraction reveals an orthorhombic nuclear and a monoclinic magnetic structure, while Mößbauer spectroscopy shows persistent short‐range magnetic order up to 525 K.
