Listerin Alleviates Alzheimer's Disease through IRE1‐mediated Decay of TLR4 mRNA
Alzheimer's disease (AD) progression is influenced by microglia‐mediated neuroinflammation. Here, it is demonstrated that Listerin suppresses neuroinflammatory signaling and cognitive impairment in AD models by triggering IRE1α‐mediated TLR4 mRNA decay. Adenoviral Listerin delivery reduces amyloid‐β pathology, positioning it as a new therapeutic target.

Quasar-driven galactic outflows are a major driver of the evolution of massive galaxies. We report observations of a powerful galactic-scale outflow in a z = 3 extremely red and intrinsically luminous ( L _bol ≃ 5 × 10 ^47 erg s ^−1 ) quasar SDSSJ1652 ...

4D‐MRI at 0.55T for internal target volume delineation in liver radiation therapy planning
Abstract Background Low‐field MRI provides superior soft‐tissue contrast compared to CT while costing significantly less than high‐field MRI, which makes it a more accessible option for MRI‐guided radiation therapy planning. Four‐dimensional MRI (4D‐MRI) is a technique that has been increasingly adopted clinically for internal target volume (ITV ...

CatNorth: An Improved Gaia DR3 Quasar Candidate Catalog with Pan-STARRS1 and CatWISE
A complete and pure sample of quasars with accurate redshifts is crucial for quasar studies and cosmology. In this paper, we present CatNorth, an improved Gaia Data Release 3 (Gaia DR3) quasar candidate catalog with more than 1.5 million sources in the 3

Lens Model and Time Delay Predictions for the Sextuply Lensed Quasar SDSS J2222+2745
SDSS J2222+2745 is a galaxy cluster at z=0.49, strongly lensing a quasar at z=2.805 into six widely separated images. In recent HST imaging of the field, we identify additional multiply lensed galaxies, and confirm the sixth quasar image that was ...

Surveying the Onset and Evolution of Supermassive Black Holes at High-z with AXIS
The nature and origin of supermassive black holes (SMBHs) remain an open matter of debate within the scientific community. While various theoretical scenarios have been proposed, each with specific observational signatures, the lack of sufficiently ...

We report a new stringent limit relating to the space-time variation in the fine-structure constant α=e24πε0ℏc from an analysis of quasar J110325-264515 towards zabs=1.8389. We find Δα/α=(1.56±1.78)×10-6 from a comparison of laboratory wavelengths of [Fe

On the origin of excess cool gas in quasar host halos
Previous observations of quasar host halos at z=2 have uncovered large quantities of cool gas that exceed what is found around inactive galaxies of both lower and higher masses.

Narrowband observations have detected no Ly-alpha emission within a 70 pMpc^3 volume centered on the z = 2.168 quasar PKS 0424-131. This is in contrast to surveys of Ly-alpha emitters in the field at similar redshifts and flux limits, which indicate that
