Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Versus Non‐Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer: The Impact of Pd and Pt Complexes on Basal‐Like Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 9, 14 May 2026.
The anticancer activity of the complexes Pd3Spd2, Pt3Spd2, Pt2Put2(NH3)4 and Pd2Put2 against human TNBC, non‐TNBC and healthy breast cells was evaluated. The metabolic impact of the most promising metal complexes—Pd3Spd2 and Pt2Put2(NH3)4—was further assessed using vibrational microspectroscopies, providing detailed insights into the drug‐induced ...

Optimizing over Multiple Distributions under Generalized Quasar-Convexity Condition

open access: yesAdvances in Neural Information Processing Systems 37
We study a typical optimization model where the optimization variable is composed of multiple probability distributions. Though the model appears frequently in practice, such as for policy problems, it lacks specific analysis in the general setting.

Gaussian Processes for Predictive QSAR Modeling of Chromatographic Processes

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, Volume 123, Issue 5, Page 1405-1412, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Chromatography is a key unit operation in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing process used for protein purification and polishing. Design and optimization of these processes are resource‐intensive resulting from the complex combinatorial design space.

cDC1 Subtype‐Specific In Vivo Targeting of Liposomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 19, 2 April 2026.
Dendritic cells, particularly the cDC1 subtype, offer a promising target for drug delivery via liposomes due to their pivotal role in immune regulation, allowing for amplified therapeutic responses. Herein, we show an integration of physicochemical characterization and cell experiments to achieve effective in vivo cDC1 targeting through anti‐CLEC9A ...

Selective Drug‐Free Active Surveillance in Ulcerative Colitis: Biomarker‐Guided, Patient‐Centered Approach

open access: yesJGH Open, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Ulcerative colitis (UC) is traditionally managed with long‐term 5‐aminosalicylic acid (5‐ASA) administration. However, in real‐world practice, carefully selected low‐risk patients in sustained deep remission may remain stable without continuous therapy.

First In Vivo 23Na Human Imaging at 10.5 T Using a Combined Sodium‐Proton Transceiver Body Array

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 4, Page 2429-2441, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To demonstrate the first in vivo human 23Na MRI at 10.5 T using a novel dual‐tuned transceiver body array and to evaluate a self‐gating approach for respiratory motion compensation, focusing on renal imaging. Methods A custom‐built eight‐channel 23Na‐loop 1H‐dipole transceiver array was designed, constructed, and characterized.

Work in Progress: Use of Wood‐Based Inserts in Injection Molding

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
The study investigates the suitability of wood‐based mold inserts for the production of small series in polymer injection molding, showing that specially modified materials like laminated beech and compressed bamboo are more promising than natural woods. The results indicate that reproducible components can be produced with these tools. ABSTRACT In the

Anisotropy Analysis of Bamboo and Tooth Using 4‐Angle Polarization Micro‐Spectroscopy

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
Super‐resolution via orientation: spatial distribution of specific molecular vibrations are revealed at 1/20 of the diffraction limit. ABSTRACT To investigate the anisotropic properties of biomaterials, two distinct classes are considered as follows: polymer‐based (cellulose in plants) and crystalline‐based (enamel in teeth), each demonstrating ...
