Research on deep reinforcement learning in Internet of vehicles edge computing based on Quasi-Newton method

open access: yesTongxin xuebao
To address the issues of ineffective task offloading decisions caused by multitasking and resource constraints in vehicular networks, the Quasi-Newton method deep reinforcement learning dual-phase online offloading (QNRLO) algorithm was proposed.

A Note on Shapley's convex measure games

open access: yes, 2002
L. S. Shapley, in his paper 'Cores of Convex Games', introduces Convex Measure Games, those that are induced by a convex function on R, acting over a measure on the coalitions.

Perovskite Photodetectors at the Intelligence Frontier: From Tunable Materials to Adaptive Optoelectronic Systems

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review presents a progressive roadmap for perovskite vision detectors. Centered on perovskite‐based artificial perception, the graphic illustrates a systematic evolution: starting with fundamental material engineering and device architectures, advancing toward complex functional strategies such as flexible neuromorphic imaging ...

Notes on the differentiation of quasi-convex functions

open access: yes, 2013
This expository paper presents elementary proofs of four basic results concerning derivatives of quasi-convex functions. They are combined into a fifth theorem which is simple to apply and adequate in many cases. Along the way we establish the equivalence of the basic lemmas of Jensen and Slodkowski.

Inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for functions whose derivatives in absolute values are quasi-convex

open access: yes, 2013
The main purpose of this paper is to establish some inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for functions whose derivatives in ...

Optimization Of Quasi-convex Function Over Product Measure Sets

open access: yes, 2019
We consider a generalization of the Bauer maximum principle. We work with tensorial products of convex measures sets, that are non necessarily compact but generated by their extreme points.

Front Propagation Through a Perforated Wall

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We consider a bistable reaction– diffusion equation ut=Δu+f(u)$u_t=\Delta u +f(u)$ on RN${\mathbb {R}}^N$ in the presence of an obstacle K$K$, which is a wall of infinite span with many holes. More precisely, K$K$ is a closed subset of RN${\mathbb {R}}^N$ with smooth boundary such that its projection onto the x1$x_1$‐axis is bounded and that ...

Clustering dichotomously scored items through functional k-means algorithm

open access: yes, 2016
In the educational field, it is common to analyze the probability of a correct response to a test item as a continuous function of the item parameters and the subject ability. This relation is given by the item response function.

Stochastic Gradient Descent in High Dimensions for Multi‐Spiked Tensor PCA

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study the high‐dimensional dynamics of online stochastic gradient descent (SGD) for the multi‐spiked tensor model. This multi‐index model arises from the tensor principal component analysis (PCA) problem with multiple spikes, where the goal is to estimate the unknown signal vectors within the N$N$‐dimensional unit sphere through maximum ...

Quasi-variational inequality formulation of the mixed equilibrium in multiclass routing games [PDF]

open access: yes
In the modeling of competition on networks it is usually assumed that users either behave following the Wardrop equilibrium or the Nash equilibrium concept.
