Some Improvements of Jensen’s Inequality via 4-Convexity and Applications

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2022
The intention of this note is to investigate some new important estimates for the Jensen gap while utilizing a 4-convex function. We use the Jensen inequality and definition of convex function in order to achieve the required estimates for the Jensen gap.

Generalized fractional inequalities for quasi-convex functions

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
The class of quasi-convex functions contain all those finite convex functions which are defined on finite closed intervals of real line. The aim of this paper is to establish the bounds of the sum of left and right fractional integral operators using ...

On quasi‐convex functions and related topics [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1985
Let S be the class of functions f which are analytic and univalent in the unit disc E with f(0) = 0, f′(0) = 1. Let C, S* and K be the classes of convex, starlike and close‐to‐convex functions respectively. The class C* of quasi‐convex functions is defined as follows:Let f be analytic in E and f(0), f′(0) = 1.

On the Coefficients of Quasi-Convex Functions

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract In this paper we introduce and investigate the class of T (λ, β, A, B) that we call the class of quasi-starlike and quasi-convex functions with respect to the values of the parameter λ. Also we define the class K (λ, β, µ, m, A, B) which is satisfy non-homogeneous Cauchy-Euler differential equation.

On the Curvature Properties of “Long” Social Welfare Functions

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This study characterizes the concavity properties of the Jorgenson and Slesnick’s social welfare function that is likely the most empirically relevant function among the family of “long” welfare functions.

Convex Analysis for Minimizing and Learning Submodular Set Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The connections between convexity and submodularity are explored, for purposes of minimizing and learning submodular set functions. First, we develop a novel method for minimizing a particular class of submodular functions, which can be expressed as a

A Green Downlink Power Allocation Scheme for Cell-Free Massive MIMO Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
In this article, we consider the problem of downlink power allocation in a cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (m-MIMO) communication system under spectral efficiency (SE) constraints for the users.

An application of KKM-map principle

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1992
The following theorem is proved and several fixed point theorems and coincidence theorems are derived as corollaries. Let C be a nonempty convex subset of a normed linear space X, f:C→X a continuous function, g:C→C continuous, onto and almost quasi ...
