Skew generalized quasi-cyclic codes

Summary: This article discusses skew generalized quasi-cyclic codes over any finite field \(\mathbb F\) with Galois automorphism \(\theta\). This is a generalization of both quasi-cyclic codes and skew polynomial codes. These codes have an added advantage over quasi-cyclic codes since their lengths do not have to be multiples of the index.

Breaking the Toughness‐Stretchability Trade‐Off in Hydrogels with Dynamic Hydrogen Bonding

A novel nanocomposite hydrogel architecture overcomes the inherent conflict between toughness and stretchability by integrating uniformly dispersed aminopropyl‐hybrid‐phyllosilicate nanosheets within a polyacrylamide matrix. This design leverages a dynamic hydrogen‐bonding network to facilitate efficient energy dissipation and self‐recovery.

Illuminating Mitochondrial RNA G‐Quadruplexes as Structural Brakes on RNA Granule Assembly and OXPHOS

A new fluorescent probe, MitoQUMA, brings mitochondrial RNA G‐quadruplexes (mtRNA G4s) into view in live cells. This tool reveals that excessive mtRNA G4 formation halts mitochondrial RNA granule (MRG) assembly, opposite to the phase‐separation role of cytoplasmic RNA G4s.
