Construction of Quasi-Cyclic Low Density Parity Check Codes for Magnetic Induction Communication

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The magnetic induction (MI) communication has been proved to be an effective method in the wireless underground sensor networks (WUSN). MI communication system based on quasi-cyclic low density parity check (QC-LDPC) codes is expected to improve the ...

On the Construction of Multitype Quasi-Cyclic Low-Density Parity-Check Codes With Different Girth and Length

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Multitype quasi-cyclic (QC) low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes are a class of protograph LDPC codes lifted cyclically from protographs with multiple edges, represented by two weight and slope matrices.

Age‐Dependent Correlation of Pulmonary Function Impairment and Aortic Arch Stiffness in Mice

open access: yesPediatric Discovery, EarlyView.
This study examined the relationship between aortic arch stiffness and lung function in aging mice. Multiple linear regression modeling showed moderate to strong correlations between the rise in aortic arch stiffness and changes in lung function as the mice progressively aged.

All‐sky assimilation impacts of the Tomorrow.io microwave sounder constellation on global weather forecasts

open access: yesQuarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.
Key Findings: An assimilation methodology is established for the Tomorrow.io microwave sounder (TMS) flying on CubeSats in sun‐synchronous and inclined orbits, and in all cloud scenes. The TMS has a significant impact on weather forecast lead times up to 3 days in the Tropics in a research‐quality numerical weather prediction setting, and yields water ...

Explicit constructions of Type-II QC LDPC codes with girth at least 6 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Type-II quasi-cyclic (QC) LDPC codes are constructed from combinations of weight-0, weight-1 and weight-2 circulant matrices. The structure of cycles of length 2n are investigated, and necessary and sufficient conditions for a type-II QC LDPC parity ...

Entanglement-Assisted Quantum Quasi-Cyclic Low-Density Parity-Check Codes

open access: yes, 2009
We investigate the construction of quantum low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes from classical quasi-cyclic (QC) LDPC codes with girth greater than or equal to 6.

A cyclic‐shift based method for counting cycles of quasi‐cyclic LDPC codes

open access: yesElectronics Letters
M. Fossorier proposed how to determine the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of cycles in the Tanner graph of quasi‐cyclic LDPC (QC‐LDPC) codes, which has been widely investigated in the study of LDPC codes.
