Non‐Linear Reduced Order Modelling of Transonic Potential Flows for Fast Aerodynamic Analysis
ABSTRACT This work presents a physics‐based reduced order modelling (ROM) framework for the efficient simulation of steady transonic potential flows around aerodynamic configurations. The approach leverages proper orthogonal decomposition and a least‐squares Petrov‐Galerkin (LSPG) projection to construct intrusive ROMs for the full potential equation ...

Twisted α‐MoO3 layers support phonon polaritons whose propagation depends on the twist angle, enabling control of near field radiative heat transfer. Increasing the angle yields a monotonic rise in heat flux, driven by topological transitions from open hyperbolic to closed elliptical dispersions.

Full Asymmetric Radiation Control Through Multi‐Channel Bound States in the Continuum
Bound states in the continuum (BICs) enable extreme light confinement via high Q‐factors, but their radiation splits into half‐spaces with limited beam control. Here, in super wavelength BICs (supporting multiple diffraction orders), we design co‐propagating orders in one half‐space, achieving full tuning of UGRs’ directionality (−1 to 1) and phase (‐π

Second‐Order Computational Homogenization of Nonlinear Fluid Flow Through Porous Media
ABSTRACT We present a second‐order computational multiscale model for heterogeneous porous media, which allows for the scale bridging of transient fluid‐flow processes through porous materials with non‐separated scales. The formulation connects a homogenized macroscopic scale described by a local theory of grade two with heterogeneous microstructures ...
