Microstructure‑Dependent Phase Transformations Under High‑Pressure Laser Heating in Additively Manufactured AlCrFe2Ni2

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Additively manufactured AlCrFe2Ni2 with contrasting BCC/B2‐dominant and lamellar FCC + BCC/B2 microstructures exhibits the same pressure‐induced BCC/B2 → HCP transformation. Under laser heating at high pressure, HCP is destabilized, and a cubic BCC/B2 + FCC assemblage is recovered, while the lower‐scan‐speed microstructure transforms at a lower ...

Structure‐Guided Dynamical Mechanics in Bioinspired Double Twisted Laminated Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores a dynamic mechanistic study of crack propagation and puncture testing via real‐time monitoring of crack initiation, propagation, and termination through nature‐inspired single and double twisted architectures fabricated from cellulose nanocrystals.

On Doitchinov's quietness for arbitrary quasi-uniform spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The notion of a quiet quasi-uniform space was introduced by Doitchinov in1988 when he developed an interesting completion theory for this class ofquasi-uniform spaces.

In-situ quasi-static and dynamic behavioural response of steel tubular frames subjected to lateral impact loads

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Solids and Structures
Steel tubular members are widely used as primary and secondary structural framing members in offshore oil and gas platforms. A platform is inherently liable to collisions from ships which can create severe structural damages in the rig.

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

Generalized Razzaboni surfaces with the quasi frame in Minkowski 3-space

open access: yesFilomat
This study investigates the geometric properties of generalized Razzaboni surfaces in Minkowski 3-space utilizing the quasi-frame formalism. We derive the quasi-frame equations for these surfaces and employ them to analyze their characteristics. The conditions for surface developability and minimality are established.

Bone‐Inspired Recyclable Composites for Damage‐Tolerant Circular Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bone‐inspired architected composites are developed by combining osteon‐like reinforcements with a recyclable Elium thermoplastic matrix. The hierarchical architecture redirects cracks and promotes energy dissipation, while enabling recovery of intact, aligned, load‐bearing reinforcement units that retain their original stiffness, revealing a route ...

Ultralow-Energy Analog Reservoir Computing via Reconfigurable 2-Transistor Memory. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
This work presents a reconfigurable reservoir‐computing platform based on an oxide InSnZnO two‐transistor cell in which a hold bias selects volatile relaxation for the reservoir or quasi‐non‐volatile multilevel storage for the readout. Multi‐level hold‐bias kernel tune relaxation currents to generate diverse time constants, enriching reservoir states ...
