Frobenius-Perron Dimensions of Integral ℤ+$\mathbb {Z}_{+}$-rings and Applications

open access: yes, 2020
We introduce the notion of the Frobenius-Perron dimension of an integral ℤ + $\mathbb {Z}_{+}$ -ring and give some applications of this notion to classification of finite dimensional quasi-Hopf algebras with a unique nontrivial ...

Local equivalence and refinements of Rasmussen's s‐invariant

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Inspired by the notions of local equivalence in monopole and Heegaard Floer homology, we introduce a version of local equivalence that combines odd Khovanov homology with equivariant even Khovanov homology into an algebraic package called a local even–odd (LEO) triple.

Efficient Dynamics: Reduced‐Order Modeling of the Time‐Dependent Schrödinger Equation

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 2, February 2026.
Reduced‐order modeling (ROM) approaches for the time‐dependent Schrödinger equation are investigated, highlighting their ability to simulate quantum dynamics efficiently. Proper Orthogonal Decomposition, Dynamic Mode Decomposition, and Reduced Basis Methods are compared across canonical systems and extended to higher dimensions.

Quasi-Frobenius quotient rings of group rings [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Australian Mathematical Society, 1975
The purpose of this paper is an extension of a theorem of Hughes (1973). He showed: Let R be a ring which has a right artinian right quotient ring and let G be a group which has a (transfinite) ascending normal series with each factor either finite or cyclic, but only a finite number of finite factors.

Sharp commutator estimates of all order for Coulomb and Riesz modulated energies

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 207-292, February 2026.
Abstract We prove functional inequalities in any dimension controlling the iterated derivatives along a transport of the Coulomb or super‐Coulomb Riesz modulated energy in terms of the modulated energy itself. This modulated energy was introduced by the second author and collaborators in the study of mean‐field limits and statistical mechanics of ...

Hypergeometric motives from Euler integral representations

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract We revisit certain one‐parameter families of affine covers arising naturally from Euler's integral representation of hypergeometric functions. We introduce a partial compactification of this family. We show that the zeta function of the fibers in the family can be written as an explicit product of L$L$‐series attached to nondegenerate ...

Multiple Order Dual-Band Active Ring Filters with Composite Right/Left Handed Cells

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, a novel dual-band active filter topology is presented. The non-linear phase response of a composite right/left-handed cell is used to achieve the desired dual-band performance.

Non‐Linear Reduced Order Modelling of Transonic Potential Flows for Fast Aerodynamic Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 2, 30 January 2026.
ABSTRACT This work presents a physics‐based reduced order modelling (ROM) framework for the efficient simulation of steady transonic potential flows around aerodynamic configurations. The approach leverages proper orthogonal decomposition and a least‐squares Petrov‐Galerkin (LSPG) projection to construct intrusive ROMs for the full potential equation ...

Data‐Driven Identification of Rational Nonlinear Dynamics in Biochemical Networks via an Implicit Singular Value Decomposition Based Framework

open access: yesIET Systems Biology, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study introduces a novel method to identify rational‐function dynamics in biological networks, overcoming the limitations of existing approaches like SINDy. By applying singular value decomposition to a mixed library of state and derivative terms, the method efficiently extracts the implicit model structure from data.
