Model category structures on truncated multicomplexes for complex geometry
Abstract To a bicomplex one can associate two natural filtrations, the column and row filtrations, and then two associated spectral sequences. This can be generalized to N$N$‐multicomplexes. We present a family of model category structures on the category of N$N$‐multicomplexes where the weak equivalences are the morphisms inducing a quasi‐isomorphism ...

Euclidean algorithms are Gaussian over imaginary quadratic fields
Abstract We prove that the distribution of the number of steps of the Euclidean algorithm of rationals in imaginary quadratic fields with denominators bounded by N$N$ is asymptotically Gaussian as N$N$ goes to infinity, extending a result by Baladi and Vallée for the real case.

The shift‐homological spectrum and parametrising kernels of rank functions
Abstract For any compactly generated triangulated category, we introduce two topological spaces, the shift spectrum and the shift‐homological spectrum. We use them to parametrise a family of thick subcategories of the compact objects, which we call radical.

GL‐algebras in positive characteristic II: The polynomial ring
Abstract We study GL$\mathbf {GL}$‐equivariant modules over the infinite variable polynomial ring S=k[x1,x2,…,xn,…]$S = k[x_1, x_2, \ldots, x_n, \ldots]$ with k$k$ an infinite field of characteristic p>0$p > 0$. We extend many of Sam–Snowden's far‐reaching results from characteristic zero to this setting.

Compact Spectral Imaging: A Review of Miniaturized and Integrated Systems
This review explores the rapid shift toward compact spectral imaging systems by examining four key design paradigms: Do‐It‐Yourself (DIY) platforms, freeform optics, filter‐on‐chip integration, and multifunctional metasurfaces. The discussion highlights critical applications in medicine, agriculture, and environmental monitoring, providing comparative ...

Abstract The temporal evolution of the polar ionosphere's electric field distribution can be simulated by a magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) model of the magnetosphere–ionosphere system. The emulator SMRAI2 mimics the ionospheric state calculated with an MHD model, REPPU, under given solar wind conditions.

Classifying thick subcategories over a Koszul complex via the curved BGG correspondence
Abstract In this work, we classify the thick subcategories of the bounded derived category of dg modules over a Koszul complex on any list of elements in a regular ring. This simultaneously recovers a theorem of Stevenson when the list of elements is a regular sequence and the classification of thick subcategories for an exterior algebra over a field ...

Tensor Analysis of Tropical Cyclone Boundary Layer Turbulence
Abstract Turbulent momentum transport critically influences tropical cyclone (TC) structure and intensity, but its multiscale characteristics remain poorly understood. Using two large eddy simulations, we investigate the Reynolds stress tensor and subfilter‐scale momentum flux tensor during rapid intensification and mature stages of an idealized TC. We

We study the impact of observation‐error correlations in data assimilation using both a simple idealised system and a more realistic configuration. A spectral analysis of data assimilation in the idealised system allows us to gain insights on the effect of observation‐error correlations, which are then validated using the realistic configuration.
