Almost structural completeness; an algebraic approach [PDF]
A deductive system is structurally complete if its admissible inference rules are derivable. For several important systems, like modal logic S5, failure of structural completeness is caused only by the underivability of passive rules, i.e. rules that can

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Groups whose universal theory is axiomatizable by quasi-identities
A group \(G\) is called square-like if the universal theory of \(G\) coincides with that of its direct square \(G\times G\). It is shown that the class of square-like groups is first-order axiomatizable. A group \(G\) is said to be discriminating if and only if \(G\) discriminates \(G\times G\).

In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

Also arXiv:1508.04483Extending earlier work on supertropical adjoints and applying symmetrization, we provide a symmetrized supertropical version SLn of the special linear group, which we partition into submonoids, based on " quasi-identity " matrices ...

3D‐Printed Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) Sensors Based on Self Compliant Springs
This work explores 3D‐printed GMR sensors utilizing self‐compliant spring structures and conductive PLA composites. By optimizing arm width, we achieved high piezoresistive (0.34%/mm) and magnetoresistive (0.77%/mT) sensitivities. Demonstrated through Bluetooth‐integrated pressure and magnetic position sensing, these full printed low‐cost, customizable

Essentially Quasi-Invertible Submodules and Essentially Quasi-Dedekind Modules
Let R be a commutative ring with identity . In this paper we study the concepts of essentially quasi-invertible submodules and essentially quasi-Dedekind modules as a generalization of quasi-invertible submodules and quasi-Dedekind ...
