ESTIMATION ISSUES IN SINGLE COMMODITY GRAVITY TRADE MODELS [PDF]
Recently gravity trade models are applied to disaggregated trade data. Here many zeros are characteristic. In the presence of excess zeros usual Poisson Pseudo Maximum Likelihood (PPML) is still consistent, the variance covariance matrix however is ...

This work presents a rate‐adaptive site transformation strategy in Ag‑ethylenediamine intercalated Co9S8, which not only enables parallel water dissociation and H* adsorption, but also allows the catalyst to provide more active sites under high demand, removing a major bottleneck. The catalyst achieves a record current density of 4.2 A cm−2@2.0 V, with

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Bayesian Nonparametric Quasi Likelihood
A recent trend in Bayesian research has been revisiting generalizations of the likelihood that enable Bayesian inference without requiring the specification of a model for the data generating mechanism. This paper focuses on a Bayesian nonparametric extension of Wedderburn's quasi-likelihood, using Bayesian additive regression trees to model the mean ...

Charge transport in 2D tin perovskite FETs is shown to be governed by dielectric interface behavior. Polar polymer dielectrics induce dipolar disorder that localizes carriers, whereas nonpolar polymers suppress trapping and enable superior charge transport, ensuring stable and reliable transistor operation. ABSTRACT Understanding the role of interfaces

Analysis of leukemia and forest fires data using new Poisson Quasi-Shanker distribution
In this study, a new two-parameter discrete distribution is introduced by mixing Poisson and Quasi-Shanker distributions. The new model is named Poisson Quasi-Shanker-(PQS) distribution. Some important mathematical properties of the proposed distribution

Impact of jumps on returns and realised variances: econometric analysis of time-deformed Levy processes [PDF]
In order to assess the effect of jumps on realised variance calculations, we study some of the econometric properties of time-changed Levy processes. We show that in general we can derive the second order properties of realised variances and use these to

Efficient two‐photon resonant Raman scattering (TRRS) is observed in the layered perovskite (PEA)2PbI4, with the biexciton level acting as an intermediate state. TRRS undergoes two‐photon frequency shift upon input frequency tuning, persists up to 90 K, and shows clear threshold behavior and polarization selection rules.
