Thermodynamic quasi-stability of super entropic BTZ black hole
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2022We know that criteria for thermodynamic stability of a most general black hole appears in the form of a series of inequalities connecting second-order derivatives of the black hole mass with respect to its parameters. Quasi-stable black holes satisfy some of these stability criteria in a certain regime of parameter space, but they never satisfy all ...

Quasi-stabilized ionic gratings in photorefractive media for multiplex holography
Journal of the Optical Society of America B, 1997We investigate photorefractive media for which quasi-stabilized ionic gratings can be used to prolong readout lifetime. We use coupled-transport-mode theory to describe the coevolution of photorefractive gratings that arise from free-electron transport and ionic transport.

Quasi-stability regions of nonlinear dynamical systems: optimal estimations
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1996In this paper, we develop an effective scheme to estimate stability regions by using an energy function that is a generalization of the Lyapunov functions. It is shown that the scheme can optimally estimate stability regions. A fairly comprehensive study for the structure of the constant energy surface lying inside the quasi-stability region is ...

Finite-Dimensional Behavior and Quasi-Stability
2015This chapter deals mainly with the dimension theory of global attractors. We present some background and develop a relatively new approach which is based on some ideas due to O. Ladyzhenskaya (see Ladyzhenskaya [142] and the literature cited there) and assumes minimal smoothness properties of evolutions.

Quasi‐stability and continuity for wave equation with a fractional damping and a small delay
Mathematical Methods in the Applied SciencesIn this paper, we shall deal with the long‐time dynamics of a nonlinear system of wave equation with a fractional damping and a small delay. Inspired by the works of Chueshov and Lasiecka on the property of quasi‐stability of dynamic systems, we show first the quasi‐stability property holds for the problem considered here and then prove the existence ...

Quasi‐stabilization/synchronization of quaternion‐valued memristive neural networks: Norm approach
Mathematical Methods in the Applied SciencesThis paper examines the quasi‐stabilization and synchronization of memristive neural networks in high dimensional forms. First, new criteria for the existence of the equilibrium point (EP) are delivered by contraction mapping principle. Then, a new Lyapunov function described with one‐norm form is imported for quasi‐stabilization/synchronization of the
