3D‐Printed Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) Sensors Based on Self Compliant Springs

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores 3D‐printed GMR sensors utilizing self‐compliant spring structures and conductive PLA composites. By optimizing arm width, we achieved high piezoresistive (0.34%/mm) and magnetoresistive (0.77%/mT) sensitivities. Demonstrated through Bluetooth‐integrated pressure and magnetic position sensing, these full printed low‐cost, customizable

Research on the flow stability and noise reduction characteristics of quasi-periodic elastic support skin

open access: yesDefence Technology
To enhance flow stability and reduce hydrodynamic noise caused by fluctuating pressure, a quasi-periodic elastic support skin composed of flexible walls and elastic support elements is proposed for fluid noise reduction.

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

Stability of Functional Equations in Dislocated Quasi-Metric Spaces

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae, 2018
We present a result on the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of a functional equation in a single variable for functions that have values in a complete dislocated quasi-metric space.

Quasi-Stability of the Primary Flow in a Cone and Plate Viscometer

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Fluid Mechanics, 2004
We investigate the flow between a shallow rotating cone and a stationary plate. This cone and plate device is used in rheometry, haemostasis as well as in food industry to study the properties of the flow w.r.t. shear stress. Physical experiments and formal computations show that close to the apex the flow is approximately azimuthal and the shear ...

Pullback attractors via quasi-stability for non-autonomous lattice dynamical systems

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - B, 2022
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>In this paper we study long-time behavior of first-order non-autono-mous lattice dynamical systems in square summable space of double-sided sequences using the cooperation between the discretized diffusion operator and the discretized reaction term.

Four‐Point Bending Tests at High Temperatures on Commercial MgO‐C Refractory Bricks with and Without Recyclate Considering Different Carbon Contents

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Four‐point bending tests are conducted in an argon atmosphere on commercial MgO‐C brick grades with and without MgO‐C recyclate from room temperature up to 1300 °C. No detrimental effect of the MgO‐C recyclates on bending strength is found. Instead, a decisive influence of the total carbon content is observed, with lower total carbon contents ...

Intermediate phase assisted sequential deposition of reverse‐graded quasi‐2D alternating cation perovskites for MA‐free perovskite solar cells

open access: yesInfoMat, 2023
One‐step deposition approaches have been widely applied and developed in the fabrication of quasi‐2D perovskites. However, the regulation of quantum wells (QWs) and crystalline orientation is difficult and complicated when using this methodology ...

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Vortex Stability in the Thermal Quasi-Geostrophic Dynamics

open access: yesFluids
The stability of a circular vortex is studied in the thermal quasi-geostrophic (TQG) model. Several radial distributions of vorticity and buoyancy (temperature) are considered for the mean flow. First, the linear stability of these vortices is addressed.
