Quasi-static and high strain rate response of Kevlar reinforced thermoplastics
The present study deals with the quasi-static and high strain rate characterization of Kevlar-129 based thermoplastic composites. Two different thermoplastic matrices, namely, Polypropylene (PP) and Polyetherimide (PEI) were used to manufacture composite

Quasi-Static Investigations of 240-Bloom Gelatine for Ballistic Tests
The paper presents the results of investigations of ballistic gel properties in quasi-static conditions. Specimens were prepared using the 240 Bloom gelatine, which was determined by product availability. Tests were carried out making use of a material testing machine to estimate the influence of gel share on stress-strain characteristics.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Adjustment mechanism of blasting dynamic-static action in the water decoupling charge
Water decoupling charge blasting excels in rock breaking, relying on its uniform pressure transmission and low energy dissipation. The water decoupling coefficients can adjust the contributions of the stress wave and quasi-static pressure.

Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

STUDY ON THE COMPILATION OF TYPICAL EXCITATION SPECTRUM OF SUSPENSION DYNAMIC K&C TEST
The traditional quasi-static K&C characteristic test can not reflect the hysteresis effect caused by shock absorber damping and bushing viscoelasticity comprehensively and effectively, but the suspension dynamic K&C characteristic test can make up the ...
